Removing Bees From Hive
Please contact Jerry for Bee Rescue Services. Service is available in Sacramento/San Joaquin Valley. He will need to know the following;
1. Location of the bees: ground, tree, shed or structure?
2. How High?
3. How big of a swarm is it; the size of a baseball, basketball or truck?
4. How long have they been there or how long since you have noticed them?
Sorry, Jer is not licensed to work on houses or use chemicals. Jer asks for an amount for gas if the job is not close, but simple swarm removal is free. If the hive has been in the same location for more than a few days removal will be more costly.

What Others Are Saying About Our Shows
Uncle Jer’s Bee show was educational, interesting, and captivating for our elementary age children. The students really enjoyed learning about bee pollination and honey production in an engaging presentation with great visuals. In addition, the puppet show was a wonderful way to help the students explore the life of a worker bee. I highly recommend bringing Uncle Jer and Mrs. Uncle Jer to your school for this lively and entertaining show. Don’t miss it!

“Uncle Jer’s Traveling Bee Show Program was very well-received at the Galt-Marian O. Lawrence Library. Nearly 50 adults and children sampled honey, examined the 2 frame observation hives, listened to a presentation about beekeeping that included visuals about bees, and received activity books. Both children and adults were fascinated with the bees, asking many questions about the science of harvesting honey from bees. Uncle Jer generously gave both time and materials to the participants.” Diane Christensen, Branch Supervisor/Youth Services Librarian Galt-Marian O. Lawrence Library
“My students were ‘buzzing’ for weeks after experiencing Uncle Jer’s Traveling Bee Show. His observation hives, pollination lesson, incredible photos, and homemade honey taste test, brought chapter four in our science textbook alive! I’m already signed up for next year!” J.D. Maher, 5th Grade Teacher, Florin Elementary School
“Our kindergarten classes really enjoyed the bee presentation. They had fun looking for the queen bee. The best part was the delicious honey! This was a fun and educational show! We can’t wait until Uncle Jer returns next year.” Mrs. Clayburn, Phoenix Schools
"Our school was fortunate enough to have Uncle Jer present his Bee Show during our Family Science Night. The exhibit had several visuals, including a real bee hive, great handouts, and even honey samples that were available for the families to taste. It ended up being a terrific addition to all of the other stations about science in our world. Thanks Uncle Jer!" Cory M. Jones, Interim Principal, Earl Warren Elementary School
